Lisa J. Friedlander
"I really enjoyed having Lisa as my attorney. I had many questions and she always answered them promptly. She was very understanding with me and my lack of understanding the legal wording of things. I really appreciated her patience and her guidance, while I was able to work with her." (DP)
I am committed to providing you with top notch legal support. I approach each
case with a focus on integrity, advocacy, and understanding.
I earned my J.D. Degree from Maine Law School in 1992. Upon graduation, I worked for six successful years in private practice. In 1998, I became one of the first judicial officers to serve in the (then) new Family Division of the Maine District Court where I presided over family law cases for almost five years. At that time, I believed that in starting my own practice, I could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues and with greater flexibility. Since then, I have represented numerous clients in Maine's District, Superior, and Probate Courts as an attorney.
My current practice includes estate planning, probate, wills & trusts, family matters and a variety of other issues.
I am a member of a number of professional organizations including the Maine State Bar Association and the Cumberland County Bar Association.
